Songs at St. Meg's P&T group

We've had a request from a parent to post the names of the songs that we sing at the P&T group so that they can then learn the tunes and words to sing to their children at home. So, here is my very short list! We will need to keep building on it I think...

-Old MacDonald had a Farm
-The Wheels on the Bus
-If you're Happy and you Know it
-Twinkle Twinkle
-The Incy Wincy Spider
-The Goodbye train
-Teddy Bear
-5 Little Ducks
-5 Green and Speckled Frogs
-5 Little Monkeys
-Zoom Zoom Zoom

So far that's all I can think of! We'll add to our list as we go along and get people's favourites. Hope that helps!
Hello all,

Just wanted to post our poster (ha) for the upcoming Christmas Baking Exchange at the St. Meg's P&T group! Bring along something you love to bake or something you want to try baking for the first time, share it with others and take away what others bring to share with you! Feel free to participate however you are able.

We'll have the baking exchange on Monday 9 December during P&T group (9:45-11:15am).

Can't wait!

5 weeks in and going strong!

Hello all!

Well, after 5 mornings of Parent and Toddler group we are definitely getting into a rhythm... It's great meeting new parents and carers from the neighbourhood each week and really nice to see people returning!

Last week I (Erin) was away on a little trip up north and heard that there were almost 20 little ones running around in the wee hall upstairs!! I can only imagine the chaos and the noise that that created! Funnily enough, today we were back down to a calming 6-8 children. As a group of volunteers we have discussed some options for having more overflow space for when the numbers become a bit high for the hall upstairs, so please, if you were overwhelmed by the numbers we had last week, don't let that stop you from joining us again as we have a back-up plan if we find ourselves in a similar situation.

Also, just wanted to let you know that I have been thinking of some kind of special Christmas thing that we could do as a group at the beginning of December, so I will be sending out an e-mail about that to those of you who have signed up to our e-mailing list. It's going to be a fun one!

Looking forward to seeing you all again soon!
